Is this common? Appears to be two earthing arrangements going on - there is an earth braid going to the outer metal of the supply cable as if it is tn-s and there is an 16mm g/y earth going into the service head as if it is a tn-c-s . Green label says pme so i assume it is down as a tn-c-s with the DNO. So what is the earth braid doing? - belt and braces :confused:

or did it start life as one and get changed to the other - both look new though.

Probably a Tns with a later Tnc-s upgrade
The supply cable may not be a suitable earth return after modifications to the cable externally,but may have been left as an additional grounding point for the neutral
