When you look at a standard socket outlet, the line is the right entry hole of the lower two slots right?
When you look at a plug with the three pins facing towards you, the line is again on the right hand side.
So turn the plug over and plug it in, it's polarity is reversed?! The pin with the fuse is entering the neutral slot.
I have literally just woken up (and found myself strangely fixated on the plug and socket outlet on the wall by my bed) so surely I must be confused right? I must be having a blonde moment here!
