Morning Peeps

Can anyone please be so kind as to explain how a commutator reverses current in a D.C motor? I understand what a commutator is and what it does but how it reverses the current in respect of the carbon brushed eludes me!!:confused:

Does this help. I also havent got my notes with me, reverse brush dicurrent motor should go other way
