Facom Screwdrivers

Until recently I never heard of Facom, let alone know that they make very nice tools.

I like to have a look at other sparkies tools (not in that way!) you get an idea whats about and whats changed.
The guys I am working with have Facom VDE Screwdrivers, they do seem to be a nice bit of kit.
Two of the driver are the sort designed for MCB's and I was impressed.

Anyone else got Facom gear? are they a as good as they look?

Looking to get some new drivers, big Pozi and Phillips but not a whole kit and of course the MCB screwdriver.
I know a lot is down to preference, so your make and and best stuff will be greatly appreciated.

The MCB screwdriver is known as modulo or plus/minus depending which manufacturer. Facom tools have always worked well for me, had various bits and pieces by them over the years. I also like knipex for some things and lindstrom for smaller electronics type tools.

facom have always been big in the motor trade, spanners etc. good , quality gear afaik

All my drivers plus a pair of long nose pliers are Facom. Top stuff, had them years not that expensive IMO just bought a 3.5 terminal driver cost me 4 .20€ so not bad as i said IMO they do a strange pair of right angle cutters that ive been tempted to try 23€ .....

Thanks guys, always good to get some feed back on kit, I have knipex side cuttesr which can still snip the smallest strand after 4 years.

Think I'll spend a bit of cash on some Facom.

I'd be keen to try them, I'm on wiha at the moment, I was introduced to them via their torque screwdriver set. Befor that, I was always an avid irazola man!

I have recently bought Facom wrench sets. They are pretty impressive and I am satisfied working with these new gears. So, far from my observation, they are seamless to use. I would like to give them A+.
