Discuss Festool in the Electrical Tools and Products area at ElectriciansForums.net

Festool is widely regarded to be one of the best brands for power tools however it's mainly a brand for chippies and joiners, Hilti is the sparks equivalent. Mind you, I have no idea why you'd want to spend the money when you could probably get a Bosch or a Makita that's just as good but for half the price.

By all means though go for the Festool (not that I have any experience with that particular driver) and you'll be envied on site no doubt.

Had a few festool bits and there quality all the way as other post said more of a chippys fav but I'm a sucker when it comes to expensive tools ask the wife.....

Ive got that saw, the one with the guide rail, brilliant bit of kit :). I've now got the little drill mentioned above really small and compact great for putting up dado trunking and light fittings :)

Yea the one with the rail, i noticed the festool boxes in your photo, plus the multimaster i have one too its a bloody ace bit of kit

It is indeed, been using it today as it happens. I got the sustainer inseart for that and my metal cutting saw and test kit so everything stacks neatly :)
