I am surprised that Mrs Pete 999 allowed you to buy it. I usually buy the sharpie type permanent pens for 89p for five just as good for marking cables and when they have them Duracell batteries about £1 cheaper.

I bought some SDS drill bits from Lidl some time ago... cheap as chips. 5 x 600mm long from 10mm up to 25mm diameter and a set of 3 at 1m long.
Started to think i'll never use these damn things, then lo and behold, outside light needed for a farm cottage. The wall was solid stone and nearly 900mm thick.
For the price, it doesn't matter if its used once, then chucked. You can spend a lot of money on other tools, use them twice and they're buggered.
The only downside is I don't have a box big enough to keep them in. They just roll about the back of the van.
