I find the Bosch ones are quick and easy to use but they do jangle around in the arbor to much and accuracy suffers. I only ever use starrett tried and tested would never use anything else.

Surely being called pennywise, you should also be using Aldi holesaws:wink5:

I got my last 2 sets from Aldi, about a fiver a set, had them years now and still going strong, sharp as the day i got them, no problems going through steel enclosures or plaster etc. I do have the odd starett ones for the sizes not in the Aldi set, and to be honest they dont perform any better.

Cheers...........Howard

Crikey....I'm off to Aldi then....

I've tried the starret ones but the 'teeth' seemed to break easily. I now have bosch powerchange. which are great. I did buy the screwfix own brand 'electrical holesaw kit' but they were awful.

I do find that a step cutter can sometimes be easier for putting 20/25mm holes in panels for conduit. As someone else mentioned the Bosch PowerChange ones are a tad sloppy at times.

been using Bosch PowerChange for ages I rate them as I have put them through hell and they are still going strong. I like the fact you can quick change the pilot drill as well as the hole saw itself. (Have snapped one going through a steel bath):donatello:

Yeah I use a step/cone cutter and it's great. neat holes, and don't need to worry about breaking bits etc.
