If you have difficulty obtaining a TIS 5208, note that the Mastech MS5208 is essentially the same tester cosmetically rebadged.

call me old fashioned, but if i want to megger test ( OK i know, insulation resistance test) i use a tool that says megger on it, does exactly what it says on the tin.

Cheers Markie, and yeah thanks point taken tel, it's just that I have the TIS already in my possession and I quite like it and think il give it a try.
