I’m new into contracting / being self employed and going into renovating a small cottage that’s being stripped back to bare walls for deep retrofit. Going well but didn’t anticipate being asked to coordinate other trades once things had started.
Client knows exactly what they want electrics wise - no ring main, radials only ,AFDDs, Mk Honeywell touchpoints, track lighting, grid switches, euro modules and data cabling everywhere but architect is not engaged at all and warrant drawings are just bog standard. I want to get a spec I can go out to multiple sparkies with without too much back and forth or even buy in all the materials besides cable and quote labour only to the client.
Do you recommend any software that easily compiles you a spec sheet?
thought the big brands would have it like they do for plumbing.
