I'm well past my patience threshold now with this arsehole who hasnt paid me. Like you all said when i was jumping around with a smile on my face regarding the judgement, getting the money is proving to be the hardest part of this whole 12 month fiasco. It's becoming a very acute, very irritating pain in my arse.

I have some numbers for come high court baliffs who are by al accounts pretty nasty, pretty effective people. But i want to hurt this ----er and get whats owed to me or cause him severe discomfort and aggravation.

I am open to suggestions. Please advise me on how to hurt this tad pole as much as i legally can.

Ben apply for a retention of sale order against his house that he has just spent all his money on. That way he can not obtain any further finance via a secured loan against it without the loan provider paying you out first. By the sounds of this chap he is running out of money fast and may need to get a remortgage or secured loan to finish the works. You could always apply for bankruptcy against him and that will shake him up a bit :)

If you find out when goes to work and returns, maybe go and stand at the end of his driveway that should start to make him feel uncomfortable about things.

How about a large poster or 2 attached to the outside wall of his house?

Just make sure he can't sue you for what it says, so keep the content contructive and on topic!

This is a win idea...

Make sure you stand there MEGA CREAPILY like some perverted stalker.... Surely thats enough to scare anyone.. Head tilted down a little, eyes up, eyebrows down!! DO IT

Get a shop dummy, dress it up with a picture of the geezer's face on it and leave it near his front door with a pitch fork stuck into its chest.

or...

Didn't rockingit offer you a phone number of some heavies?
They worked for him if I remember...

Informaiton is power

As you have a ccj / decree get copies of this printed and post one to everyone in his street.
Mark it IMPORTANT LEGAL INFORMATION and people will certainly open it

Remember put nothing else in but this ccj as if you make a statement then you could be libelous. A ccj copy is factual and for information purposes only :D

On another note- wait a month before chasing payment seriously, if he is canny he will pay before 30 days are up and he can then have the CCJ removed from trustonline and his credit file (as if it never existed)
If he pays after a month the best he can get is 'satisfied judgement' if he has paid.

Is this guy employed?
If so I would go for an earnings attachment or a charging order (if he has a house)

Remenber all these costs get added to the debt

What does he do for a living ? if he is a member of certain financial bodies or trade associations then you could do this route

I complained to the body my debtor was reistered to perform epc's through and had payment the day after he found out about the official complaint. I used the argument that he was not a fit and proper person as he failed on more than 1 occasion to pay debts decreed by a legal court

He is a self employed London cabby mate, im going to take rockingit up on his....offer..... first and see where that gets me. The 30 day period has just rolled offer, judgement was handed down on Oct 5th so hes had his 30 days. I dont feel particularly inclined to give him any more time...i feel 12 months is long enough to pay!

Hi Wade :)

When you were all cock-a-hoop about your success in the Court, I posted a comment along the lines of that being the easy part - the hard part would be getting the cash.

I just want you to know that I take no satisfaction in being proved right - my sole aim was to try to prepare you for what is now happening.

Keep your chin up and get stuck in but remember two things: 1) There is no point in pursuing somebody who has no money or tangible assets. 2) If someone is hell bent on not paying you, then they won't !!

Good luck. :)

Unfortunately Geordie, i never doubted your first comment for a second, this bloke is now set in his ways, out of pride or stubborness, who knows, but hers not going to pay me, i have come to terms with this now....at least until rockingit's heavies have had a go first. But i am not prepared to lose any more money, waste any more time. i just want to hurt this slag as much as possible.

He has money, he has assets, i can harm him i am sure. just need to know the most effective yet legal way to do it. His cats however.....may end up having an accident.

Good lad :)

Just wondering .... with him being a cabbie, doesn't he have to be a "decent bloke" to hold a licence for that job?

Corrected that for you.

Something in his fuel tank would be much more effective :-)
