I have 2 pairs of snickers that I have had for 5 years or so now. still kept their colour and the knee pads are brilliant they just don`t move and stay in pllace all day long. and when you have a dodgy knee its great

Fristads! Made out if that cotton tents made from. Look great. Knee pads are like war & peace paperbacks. Awesome trousers.

Apache for me. Cheap at £25 and does the job, plenty of pockets and the right size for tools, phone, smokes, wallet etc. At that price I don't care if they get worn out or covered in caulk or cilicon. Think I'll try snickers next after the reports on here, always been to tight in the past lol.

I've got 'Cat' at the moment which are due for replacement but I struggle to get any long enough. Anyone else on here need 36" LEG and know where to get them ??

Cheers,
Lofty ( hence the long leg requirement)

i got 2 pairs of jeans from tescos £5 each pmsl, cant go wrong if they get ripped/covered in dust/muck/paint/glue etc sturdy enough and i have my ck toolbelt for carrying the tools i am using

Dickies Eisenhower for me, half the price of the newer trendy brands, but as tough as old boots. A tip if you try them, use two sets of knee pads as they tend to squash to half thickness on the pressure points over time.

^^^^^ Agree with this. Mine are 2 years old and although look a little manky don't have any holes or tears in them. Not sweaty in the summer either

Snickers for me. Think there was a post about this before, plus the the guy that started the firm is a sparks.

I have been using the cheap jeans from tesco or asda but after reading this thread I bought a pair of Apaches from Amazon including knee pads for £30 Excellent quality & having a pad for the first time is brilliant. I wont be going back to ordinary jeans again

More often than not when buying work trousers I use bike jeans or combat trousers. They have levlar panels, they're very comfortable, loose enogh for movement in all the right areas, and you can fit knee pads in where the armour goes. They also tend to be in sales more often than work trousers.
