Hello, all
I want to buy a multimeter for my father's tool bag, is there anyone of you owned one smaller than this www.amazon.co.uk/Digital-Multimeter-Tester/dp/B00EYYJQOO/ Or any other suggestion? Thanks in advance.

I do own a few cheap multimeters, and the one that Pete said is one of my face (i think because of the case) tho it dose have some mm burn marks BUT IT STILL LIVES..

LAP MAS830B Digital Multimeter 600V | Multimeters | NoLinkingToThis

They are pritty standard chip they are working off, the ones i buy cheap from china (because Test Leads in the UK can be as dear as the Chinese Multimeter and leads [tho some of the leads from china and machine are brittle])

^ Double cheer for above. I have used the 410 for a couple of years now,and any qualms i had,due to its' slight bulk, were forgotten,as its' features proved invaluable.

I have only just replaced the internal 9v battery, this very afternoon. The capacitance range has also been handy.

In my Snap-on FOD carry box,i have a Robin Multi-Test.It has the usual ranges, and data hold/range change facility...but a real handy,AC/DC fork type current clamp. It is small, has fixed leads, which stow in the edges of its' rubber jacket.

It is now marketed under a different title,i believe, but i have carried it for the last 20 years, and, bless it,has earned its' weight in gold....probably literally!
