but I am still unsure whether some members have got a problem with new Electrical Trainee or in fact all Electrical Trainee, some of which have become regular members like steve!, I am not Targeting steve in anyway but just using him as an example.

Good point mate and that does kind of validate what the mods are saying, that is it not safer if we at least try and assist them instead of ignoring them, just a thought!

Problem is Electrical Trainee are deemed as domestic sparks, and they are responsible for their own action....its like drink drivers, there a danger, but its not down to us to police it.....we can only capaign against it.

Its not about assisting them, its more to ge the message across that maybe they arent competant and need to consult/pay someone who does know whatbthey are doing.

The problem is a two thing though, youmlook back over some of the threads from the last few weeks from newbies if they are told this they get aggressive back.

But they arent, this DI thing is a title created by the scams to make the Electrical Trainee think they are competant when alot of the time they are not.

We have noticed a few newbies getting abusive when the don`t get the answer they wanted....And have been dealt with. I personally pm 2 with a warning and barred 1. As the abuse side has to work both ways

Quite. I suspect that there are many 'respected members' who haven't gone down the apprenticeship route. Which was partly what my recent poll was aimed at bringing out.
