I've been asked to test a digital control electric (faucet) or tap in a food van. It's fed by a 3 core and has an earth termination inside. However I'm unable to get an earth reading on my tester. The tap is metal, so I assumed (perhaps incorrectly) that it would be earthed.??

Are you getting an earth bond anywhere?

Does it have a class 2 double insulated symbol on it, or does it state class 1
