I'm just starting out and need some advise about screwdriver/pliers sets, can anyone recommend any? I have seen these ones does anyone know if they are any good? Cheers

I haven't use the Draper tools that you have pictured but I have used Draper Expert drivers before and can say that they were very good. In fact untill I changed them and started using Irazola drivers (quite a while back) I swore by the Draper drivers because I really liked the soft grip handles. Your picture may even be an updated range?

I would say that you wouldn't go far wrong with the Draper tool set to start off with because they will do the job, they are insulated which is a must! and at the right price.

I've always liked the CK stuff, but the price of that set seems to make it a bargain! The things you want to look for are that the screwdrivers are chrome vanadium as they will last longer. A good pair of cutters is really worth having i.e Bacho, Knipex & CK.

Has anyone seen this 'VDE Toolkit' at ScrewFix for £20...
7 drivers, side cutters, strippers, pliers & long-nose pliers and volt tester.

Irazola drivers are my choice but they are not cheap but they do last along time cheaper drivers i find you dont get enough torque when working on site

I bought that exact draper set, rubbish side cutters, ok pliers and long nose, the drivers are nice to use but don't last long, had 2 snap within 3 months, you get what you pay for I guess.....
