Seals...no bull.

Had a letter through family members door today saying they want to inspect meter equipment. Family member rang DNO who told them there was a meter seal missing and they need to investigate. They need to arrange a convenient time for DNO to come and look. U know the rest..... Seal is on other part of meter but missing from tails side.

Every fuseboard change I've ever done the seal from the meter terminals and main fuse have allready been removed before I got there...Wierd...

Don't worry, there's meter seals missing all over the place, unless you've been nicking the leccy then there's no issue

I know, thats what I told my mate when I was doing his CU change so he said "well actually since you've cut em off anyway, do we really need that meter involved"

which is why I have some seals in my tool box. Even if there wasn't one fitted when I arrived (cough....) there will be when I leave, even if it doesn't have the DNO stamp on it.
Am I being too cautious?
