Sorry to read your thread. Hopefully your tools were not in it.
Will your insurance allow you a temporary vehicle until it's sorted?

All the best with sorting things out.

Know how you feel. Had two robbed over the years, one never to be seen again, and one pinched from Leeds International Pool, and found in a shop window up at Crown Point Retail park. Had tools, test gear, materials the lot in it ,but not when I got it back.

Its awful and I do symperthise, you cant get much lower than stealing the means to a mans living !

thats why i never use a van . Too risky. Estate cars and big 4x4's are safer. But my landcruiser does not look in any way "commercial"

Did your van not have a chipped ignition system?

Not that it stops the van from being taken of course, but it stops the average scrote from driving it away.

Hello again Boys
As it turns out my van was broken into whilst i was on holiday and the police were called by the neighbours. The police then decided to have it towed away to the compound to prevent it being "broken into again"

And now they have just charged me £236 to let me have it back!!!

I'm now waitin for autoglass to replace the window

200M 2.5mm 100M 1.5 part coil 10.00mm earth bag of drill bits and cutters and whatever else i cant think of right now!!

Like i said earlier........ theiving *******s........

Mark

and a days wages !!!
