I was thinking the same thing along with their offer of a free transfer from other Domestic Installer schemes to their's

Yep I hear what you say and I agree it is not fair on the people who are registered with HMRC and have PL + PI insurance but they may want to copy a little police trick of upping the manpower and being seen in a problem area fundamentally they could be doing a good job but the fact that subscriptions and selling training courses are more important says that there is something wrong where someone can use their logo for months and in some cases years plus the fact that there is that many scheme providors it is little wonder why Joe public is confused

So, register with Stroma for a lot less ££££, then transfer to NIC for the more recognised name!
