Stanley 1-93-327 16" Hard Base Multi-Purpose Bag - STA193327

I've got this as I don't need many tools as I'm doing static maintenance and I get the bus to site, so its ideal for me. But I wouldn't recommend it for anything heavy duty it is quite flimsy and I don't think it will take much weight.

thanks, dont have a clue what ill be doing from one day to the next. some days domestic others comericial but most are industrial so i tend to carry a lot of tools with me all the time

Then I'd steer clear of this then, it serves a purpose and for that's a hold all, its strong enough for few tools, 2 10.8v's, lunch box and bottle of pop and that's fine for me. But I won't be using it for other work I'll stick to my dewalt tote

thanks for that.

imho i dont keep a lot of tools in it these are some of

small socket set
1/2 drive socket
screwdrivers
snips
pliers
long nose
stanley knife
pad saw
tin snips
file
hacksaw
chisel
reamer
grips x2
allen keys
torx screwdrivers
ferule crimpers
crimpers
stretchers
tape measure

Maybe it will be ok for you then if you don't carry loads, however the big downfall is when you put tools in the pockets on sides, because of the weight they pull the sides of the bag in so be wary of that, I got mine 21quid delivered from FFX

has the ck magma tote got a lid?

where is a good place to buy it from?

or should i ask local wholesalers to price it up (company orders a lot of stuff from them so good discounts)

Try ffx tools. They're well priced. If youre changing tools to suit the job and have a heavy load, how about some thing with wheels? Stanly do a backpack with wheel, also 18 inch tool bag with wheels. I operate in similar sectors. Chopping and changing. I used van and motorbike. Check out the link. http://www.ffx.co.uk/tools/product/3253561792151%20stanley%201-79-215%20fatmax%20backpack%20tool%20bag%20on%20wheels%20wheeled

looks nice that stanley backpack, especially when going london jobs on public transport, snickers one looks too small wont hold more than cutters and screwdrivers.

I have treated my self to a load of ststainers with added wheels. Really happy.

I've had this bag for about a year and have to say its one of the best I've had, load of space , durable and a trap door for any tools you may have forgotten to pack away, abit pricey but worth it

picked up the ck tool roll

km quite impressed actually. its got enough space for most screwdrivers, crimpers etc.

will make like a lot easier

(will get a bigger bag later to use as well but this in the top of bag is perfect, no more emptying toolbag to find a screwdriver that has sunk to the bottom)
