i bought a forge steel self-levelling lased from screwfux, clearance @ £21. bargain.
 
I have bought cheap tools in the past for ' rough work' and a lot of them are still up to the job . Some of the so called 'good stuff' has disappointed me more.
 
That interchangeable VDE set looks awful. They didn't even care when photographing it that one of the slotted bits is already bent. Doesn't inspire much confidence.

I once tried the Aldi £5 VDE set. I think each driver lasted no more than 10 trips out the bag.

The budget stuff just isn't much more than toys.
