Well yes - felt to mood was for another scalp :-)

Hi all thanks for the warm welcome.
We're going for the approved scheme as the company we receive a lot of our work from are making it a requirement. We mainly do commercial works but the odd house crops up here and there.

Fair play to you, have you got the leaflet from the NIC which explains the 10 things you will need to make the visit go well?

Well good luck, are you going to be the Qualified supervisor and do all the testing etc? if so it can be a bit nerve racking on the day.

My business partner is going to be the qs As he had dealt with our area engineer through a previous company. I'm hoping all goes well I don't see any reason why it shouldn't.

Ps I'm apprentice trained not a 5 week wonder lol

and your point is? I can tell you now having an inspection for approved status is pretty stressfull, you will soon discover that when your business depends on being in the accreditation, Regardless of experience or training the engineers at that level can be pretty ruthless, different for the DI scheme, anyhow good luck to you regardless.

I can believe it. 80% of our business will be based on us being approved so I'm taking it very seriously. Thanks for the good luck
