    Elwctrical/building services HNC choice

Thanks. I suspect that is the way I will go. I agree with your dislike of the office environment, after 20 years on the tools it was a massive culture shock and after 5 years I still miss going home feeling I have done a proper days work. For me it means I can earn roughly the same as on the...

    Elwctrical/building services HNC choice

Hi I am a qualified approved spark now working in estimating for the past few years. I have the option of completing a HNC paid by the company I work for on day release. But, what do I go for Building services or Electrical/electronics? The company is commercial/industrial and completes...

2396 Design exam help on processes

Thanks also. I did query this with the original course provider and he said just use the adiabatic equation, it came up and was worth 20 marks so knew he told me incorrectly. So I am looking for the milliohms per metre for 2x 1.5mm conductors x LOR (49) x Cr (1.2)? And then the adiabatic...

2396 Design exam help on processes

Thanks for the response, didn't think I would get a reply as I have left it late. For the first question do you know how I might calculate the ZS without the Ze or even a clue of earthing arrangement?

2396 Design exam help on processes

Hi I am resitting my 2396 tomorrow and going through my past papers I have a question that I stumbled on last time out. The training provider I failed with are no longer in business, they weren't very good, so I am on my own. The questions are ; A 230v single phase circuit is wired using a...
