Evening What ref method would you give t/e running the web of a posi joist? 100mm insulation below the posi joist then a MF and plasterboard ceiling below that Cable not touch insulation Cable touching:clipped to posi joist- J.C.E

I think I have a better understanding of this now! So on the driver it will state a input current (so for the drivers in hand it is 0.15a) (this is the AC side- which the dimmer is concerned with) I have 6x drivers so a total of 0.9a- so I should be under the Lutron RA2 inline dimmer max limit...- J.C.E

This week I nearly learned a hard lesson re this!! some of the circuits will be three phase- like car charger, GSHP, ASHP etc should you only divdide 189/3 if all circuits are single phase? Can i scratch your head (bare in mind biggest i have done is 25mm 4core ?) basement conveyor belt skip- lighting
Evening Been asked to light up a road hoarding covering a skip for soil of a basement dig- not done this before. Am I correct in thinking it is common practice to just take 110v builders lights over to it- rather than taking 230v over a public pathway! Thanks J- J.C.E

Morning guys I am doing some new build flats that qualify for zero rate vat. So I am charging vat at zero % to the main contarctor. However I have a lad working for me (labour only) on the job but he is VAT regiestered. I deduct his CIS from his invoices to me. Do I pay him vat or should he too...- J.C.E

electrical window wiring/control
dont think that will work in my situation?? that switch says 100-230v? i am trying to switch 12v also your switch looks like it needs 3core going to window (O,C,N) I do no have this- i just have a +&- from window 1 to a cupboard I have 230v in and same for a 2nd window So after a 230v to 12v...- J.C.E
