No Earth

zone Valve Actuator

Hi chaps. I've got no heating and after a bit of fault finding, I've found there's no switch feed coming from the actuator which then fires the boiler. The feed side to the actuator is present when you call for heat so couldn't this be linked to send the voltage to fire the boiler and by...

Led lights / light switch

Hi, I've fitted four 3w led spots to my bedroom. My touch sensitive light switches only work with a minimum of 40w load. Any ideas please? ps... Don't say add another 10 spots :)

The switches are the expensive touch sensitive remote control ones. I could change the switch in the bedroom but the real reason I asked is because eventually I would like to change the spots on the landing to led lights which are controlled by four intermediate switches ( the expensive ones)...

Didnt think it would take long before ratty 1 and ratty 2 came out their holes.Its amazing how you pair provoke people and then turn the fault on to them.The 60k post was in a thread "what sparkys earn" i then went on to say what i earned, I had a good year and was doing work for a good company...

I wired an extension for some very posh customers recently.I put the first fix in which included loads of spots throughout the house.I left all the cables for the spots above the plaster board ceiling and made a drawing telling me where to drill my holes. After i finnised i took less than half...
