    I would definitely change to 16 A Commando sockets with Isolators. Fixed load so short circuit protection only required.     If you are rewiring don't just do the usual 2.5mm for power circuits. Try to keep the cables out of the insulation. You will probably still need to wire in 4.mm to satisfy thermal constraint. Hope this is helpful.
