    Hi all, did some work for another spark last week and now he wants my utr and national insurance number to pay me under cis? I only did 3 days work for him , I thought CIS was for long term sub contractors? Am I wrong? most of the work I do is on my own or for another contractor who never does...

    End of this month, I am looking to go as a sub contracting Improver/Mate (shortage of work)...I have looked at HMRC & will also call Business Link.     is it called the ipaf licence or the pal licence to be able to operate the scissor lifts and cherry pickers? anyone know how much it costs roughly to obtain the licence?? cheers luke bump
