    Preferred Mains Smoke Detector brand?

    Hi all, What's everyone's preference on mains interlinkable smoke/heat detectors taking into account price, reliability and look? Ive used Aico several times and never had a problem but they are expensive and quite bulky! Cheers

    Wireless heat detector

    I plan to add a wireless heat detector to an existing interlinked smoke system consisting of 2 smoke alarms. Can anyone tell me if I need 3 wireless radio bases or 2? I plan to use aico if that makes any difference ? cheers !

    Seperate PIR to outside light.......stays on......

    Seems a common thread......... Outside bulk head...separate PIR.......wired..... live to PIR, neutral to bulkhead, switched live back to bulkhead, ( pir marked L and L1 but with a N???)........ Bulkhead remains ON....constantly... tried all the normal stuff switched off and on etc etc etc...
