MEGGER?

Received a call from a mate who did C&G 2381 in Jan 2005 but never went onto registering on a competent installer scheme. He is thinking about joining NIC.Is his qualification relevant or is the 17th edition required.(has been lording it up in the canaries for 4 years.has had enough, time to settle down)

Hey.

As he did his 16th after 2001 then he only needs to do the 16th to 17th update course and not the full regs course.

But yes he will need to update to 17th.

:D

As Lenny said, but i do believe that you may not need the 17th to join providing you do the update within the first 6-12 months.

Get him to call the scheme provider of his choice just to make sure.
