17th edition amendment course !!!

Hi all
I have just been contacted by my training provider to ask if i want to sit a 1 day 2hr on line test which is the new regs no 2382.12 amendments .This course is to replace the 17th and 17th amendment course.I have all ready done the 17th amendment 2 years ago is there any point doing this one ?? I was lead to believe that you only had to be aware of the new amendments but not actually sit a new exam !!!

Your right, no need to sit the exam given you already have the 17th - a big difference between a change in Edition and an Amendment. For sure, any sensible spark will make sure they are up to speed on the changes brought in by the amendment.

Guess its a revenue raising exercise by your Training provider.
