AM2 Risk Assessment

Hello,
I am doing my AM2 next week and have heard some stories about people at the centre i am taking the exam at failing for not filling in the risk assessmet properly, I feel confident in alll other aspects of the exam but the two employers I have worked for in the past 5 years I have not once seen any risk assessments being done or any completed ones for that matter. I have covered risk assessments in college but it was very brief and I must confess I probably had a momentary lapse of concentration / interest at the time. Does anyone have a completed example for a small job around the same size as the AM2 exam, I don't wat to go into too much detail and waste time on my exam but on the other hand I dont want to fail the exam on this trivial note! Any advice welcome.............Cheers

I have a site that you can look at - it has a form which is downloadable and is very similar to the one used.... other than the end column is not used for the AM2.

FYI - In the first column on the AM2 assessment they give you examples as well, so don't worry. eg harm caused by slips, trips & falls - you then relate this to the AM2 test centre and the work you are about to do, leaving tools lying around, trailing cables etc

All you need to do is identfy the risks within the AM2 centre for the works and show the methods used to control them, Simple!! the below items will see you through with a pass no problem

HI, Thanks to all for the advice , my internet has been down for a few days thankfully I managed to get back on tonight I bit of last minute revision.Think I'm ready for the exam, now just need to find out where the test centre is haha!

How did you get on or do you not know yet?

I've got mine on Monday, is there any hints you can give for the risk assessment part? I feel confident but I have herd also a few people fail on this part..
