I got my work done this morning so I thought I have the rest of the day off but the letting agent I do work for asked can you help us out so I arrived at the property and the irate tenant said are you meant to be the electrician I said well I used to be a traffic warden but I took this "You can be an electrician in six weeks" course so I am willing to take a stab at it the look on her face was a picture until I said or maybe I am just fooling around!!!! Mind her hubby was in the room next door chuckling away to himself

I looked out the window to see my oldest taking out the wheelie bin (to save his mum doing it as I would forget)
Called him out the window and I told him there was good news and bad news.
I told him the school had texted and said they were closed due to a burst pipe, the bad news was that he could come and work with me today (a fate that he would hate and he went off on one). I let him stew for a few minutes
Told the other 2 kids the same story and they both fell for it

They were all gutted when I asked them what date it was and it clicked
