Hi all. New diy member here. I have an Ariston 1400wd washing machine which has a burnt out 7 pin chip on the main pcb. I can read 311 411 on it but the code above is too damage to read I can make out that it starts with T and ends 4pn. Ideally I would like to identify the chip so that I can replace it. Ariston has the board as discontinued.
Thanks

Something like a TNY264PN, which is a 7-pin MOSFET switching IC, it appears in some washing machine control PCBs.

But beware, it might have failed because some other related component has failed, I'd be wary of just putting in a new device without checking. Or buy more than one (they are cheap), so if it immediately blows up, you have a spare after finding any other failed parts!

Thanks for that. I will get a couple and see how it goes

Type any numbers written on the PCB, that might be part numbers, into Google and see what comes up. I did this a while ago with a Bosch washing machine PCB, and up came a Chinese web site with a picture of the board in question, four red arrows pointing at four components, and a picture of a small plastic bag containing those four parts with a price of a very few dollars beside it.
Bought the kit (postage came to more than the kit), arrived after a couple of weeks, fitted all the parts, and the machine has been working ever since.
