ARMEG Box Sinker

Been debating whether to get one of these for ages and finally took the plunge today. Got it from Electricfix. Typically did the first double box in very hard brick - the circular cutter did it eventually but had to use the hard material chisel to square it off. The next ones though were in breeze and a doddle even with the square cutter so worth it just for doing those. I imagine it'll be real easy and quick in Celcon.

Now my problem, I DROPPED the drill with the round cutter in and it has broken the black plastic "dust shield". Does anyone know if I can get spares for this?

I bought the black dust shield plus the longer arbour required for my old Armeg kit from Denmans Electrical Wholesalers at Elex last week. You could try them or Armeg themselves.

Probably this has been covered before on here but looking at the dust extraction shield I can't help thinking it would be better to have a hoover hose connection on it? I might mod the broken one with something like this. Also in use (may have been as it was cracked) I found the dust extraction shield kept rotating???

Armeg put me onto CEF. After just paying £163.00 (inc VAT) for the sinker kit at Electricfix, CEF now want £38.00+VAT for the dust extraction shield on its own! Think I'll be repairing the cracked one!
