well...i think several test pilots had crashed before her...

she was given the choice as to whether she wanted to fly it or not...she didn`t hesitate to get into the cockpit...she reported back what was going on during the flight and landed safely thus presenting the scientists with an intact V1 that had undergone flight testing...

brilliant...
