Hello people it's me, again.

As some of you may know I'm applying for Electrical Installation apprenticeships very soon. I have been thinking about the job (of course) and would like to know roughly what the salaries are like.

I want to make it clear I'm not asking for your particular income, I would like to know the average salary for a UK electrician.

I know that working on your own/small company/big company can make your salary different, and that your location does too. I was wondering what the income is and are there such things as promotions in big companies, or may I dare say, 'pay rise'.

Thanks, FunkyWizard

As an apprentice you start on £2.60 an hour (Or there abouts) salary after qualified.. Try job centre or job sites and look in your local area.. Different areas pay different rate..
