Cable Lubrication

Hi all,
Out of interest, what have you found to be the best product for lubrication when getting cables through conduit?

I have been told of people liquid soap then others not as it hardens, WD40, etc etc.

The only thing with yellow 77 in my experience is that it dries sticky. So not too good if you need to pull more in after.

'Monkey spunk', aka yellow 77. If you don't have any to hand and need some emergency lubrication, a drop of liquid soap can get you out of a hole (as the actress said to the bishop).

How about silicone lube? Won't damage the sheath or go hard...

French chalk or talc. Never dries out or becomes sticky.
