As above anyone recommend a good set of shears, i have looked at the 200mm size knipex ones for approx £40 on ebay. Has anyone had experience of these and upto what aize would be possible to cut with this type of tool.

£1- 20 at wholesalers should get you a decent pair. if you want to do big stuff up to 35mm dia. ratchet ones are about £70

I have these.

I like that you can crop in the rear jaw and strip with the front.

Possibly no bigger than 25mm tails, bigger would be a bonus then i have them already incase.
No point in paying that much if your just after cutting 10/16mm and 25mm tails. Even a basic toolstation/screwfix pair should do that with relative ease as long as there's no steel involved (pay a little more than these for something that will last if you can afford it).

What is the item number of those lenny? If you know that would be great, they are the ones i have looked at i think

I've got two pairs of the knipex 200mm croppers, brilliant for anything up to 25mm though now I use ratchet cutter because I'm lazy lol

I use the ck 210mm croppers for everything. I use them to strip twin and earth, flex and Mains tails. They cut upto 16mm twin and earth and I've used then on 35mm tails. Only down side is they aren't insulated.
