Hi guys

Can anyone recommened a decent cable stripper for flat and 3 core cables?

Here's a couple ove seen online.

And also....

Has anyone had any experience with either of this or any other ?

Thank you.

I have the CK and use them heavily. They work well. They can just about do 6mm but I tend to use a cable knife for 6 and up.
I replace them when they eventually lose their bite which seems to be 1-2 years.

Thanks for that mate.

Is it the same CK as the one I just posted ?

Yep. I've used the Stanley ones too and do not believe they are significantly different (or worth the higher price)

I have a cheap old pair of kewtech ones which are identical to the CK ones

as above they will strip single cable up to 6mm and strip the outer sheath on 1.5 and 2.5 and 4mm no problem and 1mm and 1.5mm flex no problem.

I'd go for strippers every day, wire and cable are just plain boring! Definitely get yourself a stripper! (Failing that Id use ck crops)
