There is nothing wrong with Milwaukee, they are good tools. I would not say they were the best of the best, all the main manufacturers are on a similar level, some will like Dewalt, some Bosch, some Hilti, who can tell.
It does occur to me that if everyone else has Makita you would be able to borrow batteries if you got Maikita!!

Do plan carefully what you buy as you are just starting out and do not want to pauperise yourself too soon.
Do you personally need to use all three tools and supply them yourself at this point?

18V 4.0Ah tools are suitable and good for the purpose, the impact driver and combi driver should be good to use, though if you were needing the SDS to drill a lot of large holes in stone and concrete then you may find that the capacity may not be enough and might need to go up in voltage, however for the occasional use or small holes this should be fine.

I dont like to use everybody elses tools id like to have my own and as they are diffrent to everyone else it wouldnt get mixed up :p also i mainly re wire houses so put up trunking with the sds and attach it with the impact and a drill is always handy to have :)

personally, i'd go with makita.

1. choice of tools using same batteries.

2. every last little bit (spares wise) down to a brush spring or a grub screw can be obtained readily at sensible price.
