Discuss channeling / chasing in the Electrical Tools and Products area at ElectriciansForums.net

A

i was wondering what the difference is between a gouge and a channelling chisel (as seen in screwfix) for chasing walls (other than a gouge is about a fiver while the screwfix channelling chisel is about 25 quid), from what i can see the channelling chisel looks like it would work better (but that is going of the pic in the catalogue)

Also what do guys prefer for chasing?
I tend to use sds and chisel for short stuff and angle grinder for longer stuff but grinder is very dusty.
