Cheeky chappy.

While doing a survey/quote today I pointed out to the homeowner that there was no mpb to the water service that I could see. She said that she knew as the electrician who replaced the consumer unit had told her. I asked why it hadn't been remedied at the time of the cu swap and she said she'd been advised that she should get it done asap and that his obligation was only to make her aware. That was two years ago! Upon request she produced a part p compliance doc issued by labc and a receipt with a scribbled note advising to sort the water out asap! No cert, no sched of inspection or test results. Yippee ki-yay!

Any similar gems?:joker:

It'll not be difficult to resolve which is why I was a tad puzzled as to why it hadn't been fettled when the cu was upgraded. Bit of thought is all that was/is needed. And Mrs Miggins money.
