Hello all really useful forum this :)
has anyone contacted their DNO to find they are useless and can't answer any of my enquiries. Also after speaking to southern electric today after finding out I'm affiliated with the same body as them they told me it was fine to break their seal and pull their fuse to find out the size of their protective device.sweet

dont get into a gabbling competition with the stupid bint who answers the call centre phone (secretary)....ask to be put on to the duty engineer....at least you stand a better chance of being understood....

The best alternative, nip down to the local church (insert alternative here) get on you're knee's and prey in the appropriate direction. You may get some sense that way.
