Hi
Conventional

I have four detectors L1L1 L2L2, eol last one.
Smoke test red light on detector on but it doesn't trigger the panel and sounders.
Is there a further resistor required anywhere on the run.
Thanks

Silly question…. But is it on “silenced”

Usually, on a detector test, the alarms dont sound… just a visual indicator. To stop buildings being completely evacuated on every test.

An alarm test is done at a predetermined arranged time…

It doesn't trigger the fire alarm lights etc in the panel the sounders work when I test the call point on zone 2

Swap the heads over.

Have they worked previously or is this a new install/detector replacement?
