Eh? Just cut tight as possible.
Get the stuff thrashed in, its a sub standard way of doing the job in the first place.
Cant make a silk purse out of a sows ear.

I have only ever used bolt cutters for basket. A good sharp pair is always good. theres a good set and a bad set on my job and the bad set are terrible. I would never dream of using a hacksaw. I used a Junior Hacksaw to cut out one bar to allow for cable access once because I couldnt get the cutters in.

does it bend easy enough i.e 45 degrees 90 degrees??? cheers for your reply

Its sort of along the lines of tray i=p/u. Basket is a gift to work with. If a bend is slightly off it is easy to put abit into it or take it out.
