I posted a response to a thread this morning and because it didn't post immediately, I became a little bit trigger happy. I tried to delete the four posts that are unnecessary but can't see how to do it.

Can someone tell me if it's possible and if it is how do you do it?

I think there's a certain amount of time after you've posted where you can edit and delete them.

If you can paste links to the 4 posts I'll delete them for you.

trust a plumber. can't even flush a post. :p

Your posts have a limited time in which you can edit them, as for delete you will need to report the post and ask a staff member to delete in the box provided, it may be annoying but its set up like that so we don't get abusive post been altered or deleted before staff can see them, any post made edited or not can be reviewed by us if for any reason a member is brought to our attention :)

Glad you keep coming back the others have got bored with the technical stuff and gone back to stuffing copper pipes with bread.
haha. that takes me back 20 years. this plumber was working on a site where i'd 1st fixed alarm system. as he was fitting pipes close to where the 10 intruder alarm cables came down to the panel position, i asked him, politely, to ensure his hot pipes were not within 50mm of my cables. OK< he says. so. 1 week later, i came to 2nd fix. out of the 10 cables, 4 had been burnt through and 3 skinned. the pratt would not pay for the repair so i found some heating pipes that were not finished, ends open and i stuffed them with aome left over bread and cheese from my sarnies. took him 2 days to sort it out. KARMA.

That's a waste of bread n cheese. I can't believe revenge drove you to waste food over a plumbers incompetence with a lamp. It was only a bit of burnt plastic, put some sticky tape round it, that's what you normally do init? Lol
