Well, even though im sure we all safley isolate, you've had something catch you by surprise. What went bang or give you a dig latley?

Latest bang i had was a plugtop to a tumble dryer that had the earth and live squeezed...

What's is this? If it's a generator I knew that if not o dear.

also I'm guessing that loud humming isnt normal and I have no idea why it went bang other then it dint like what happened to it. Does anyone install this sort of stuff

Starting with your last question first, it was installed so yes, obviously people install that sort of stuff.
Not it isn't a generator. It's a motor starter.
And it went fizzle, fizzle, bang because it was connected incorrectly.
