sorry if its a basic question..!! and i have done a search, to no gain.

however.. just fitted a 12v SELV unit for a client.. which they bought from bloody ikea.
Client has asked if they are dimmable.
Checked the items paperwork and the ikea site, both of which are next to useless.

Personaly cant see any problems, but thought i would check the forum to be sure. The lighting unit is a ceiling mounted chandlier type thing, with integral 12v SELV transformer.. running about 8 10w bulbs..
