Looks like I'll have some time on Thursday to pop into Elex at Sandown Park.

Just going to have a wander round but is there anything specific to look at.

I will go to the CK Tools stand and see what the freebie is for forum members??

So along I went, bought a few tools and ambled onto the Elecsa stand....

After a bit of a chat the guy says - is there anything we can help you with? So I replied - reduce your fees so they are the same as Stroma - his reponse was Stroma, who are they? never heard of them!

Hum, depends what you need, want or can afford!

Lots of people spending money though so I think the exhibitors will be happy.

I spent about £100 and saved about £125 on "list" prices so I'm happy - that said I could have spent a LOT more.

I did visit the Elecsa and Napit stands - they didn't have much to say!

! What did you end up buying i hear they have them Wago Connector Boxes quite cheap and also give some away for free! What other freebies are avaliable..

Im northern i like freebies

Don't want loads of crxp, got loads already.

Also most stands seemed to take plastic or cash - some aren't selling though.

too many of these elex shows are down south. what you save on purchases is swallowed up by the cost of fuel and accommodation. bring them north of brum, i say.

ELEX is also on at Manchester, Coventry and Harrogate. The 2 (south)shows are Exeter and Esher.
The 5 regional shows are aimed to offer substantial geographical coverage during the course of a year.

my nearest cities are chester and liverpool. never seen an elex show near either.

We try to spread the 5 shows out to suitable venues and catchment areas, so the majority of contractors can attend a show within a 30 mile or so radius.

I was just pointing out that ELEX is not a Southern based event.
