After some information on best route to go down to get some qualifications in my line of work.

I work with specialist equipment with elv dc circuits. Whats the prefered route to go down in this kind of industry with regards to training. Im am 34 years old and in fulltime employment.

Thanks

I think you're going to need to be a bit more specific about what you do... I could describe myself as working with specialist equipment with elv DC circuits because it would be a factually correct statement, but it doesn't give you any idea of what that equipment is and the context of it's use... in my case it's my multi-function tester... it's a specialist item that is battery powered.

Also, to offer the best advice it's often helpful to know where people would like to be with their career in the short and long term... the classic 'where do you see yourself in 5 years' interview question.

Tha ks for that Sparky Chick,

So....like i say dc circuits which include relays, solenoids etc the equipment i work with is cranes, heavy plant. So more like electrical maintenance fault finding etc. Just looking for the right route. Im not claiming to be the best electrician in the world just looking for some guidance off some experts like yourselves.
