I've been prepping for the worst and hopefully it wont go that far.
Chickens are easy to keep and you can find them free on the net or in other case's a couple of quid. Cockerels are also given away free and are good for eating.
Crayfish can be caught from any stream, pond, river etc. Dig a hole by the side of the water and drop in a large bucket, channel across to the bucket from stream and bait with bacon wrapped in mesh. Weight it down on bottom of bucket with a stone. Crayfish are great on the BBQ
Potatoes, if you've never grown them fill a bucked with compost, push a couple of old spuds into the earth and cover. Ideally if you've got a patch of land then plant some now.
Tomatoes can be started now on a window sill in small pots.
Anyway just a few things to do if you're stuck at home, if the sh*t does hit the fan then message me and you're welcome to have whatever I've got going. I moved over to a redundant farm a couple of weeks ago and have been busy bringing it back to life. If everything does go back to normal then it wont go to waste as I can give it away locally
